Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited standalone financial indicators of Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt showed a slight increase in its profits during the first nine months of 2019.
The Islamic lender’s net profits stood at EGP 2.05 billion during the January-September period of 2019, compared to EGP 1.96 billion in the prior-year period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Meanwhile, revenues increased to EGP 6.9 billion in the nine-month period ended 30 September from EGP 6.26 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that the bank’s standalone financials for the first half of 2019 showed a net profit of EGP 1.376 billion, compared to EGP 1.34 billion in H1-18.
